Minor Issues Being Reported At Some Polling Places

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Some issues are being reported at polling places during this unique Election Day primary.

Allegheny County reports that they have received complained that social distancing isn't being followed at some polling places.


Officials are asking lead men/rover to emphasize mitigation measures.

In Elizabeth Township, the polling place at the Municipal Building reported that it was missing Republican ballots. Ballots were immediately printed and were en route to the polling place when they received a second call alerting officials that they had found the ballots and the reprinted ones were returned to the Elections office.

In Pittsburgh districts 19 and 26 a few voters were given the wrong ballot. Those ballots were immediately corrected and the Judges of Elections have been contacted "to emphasize the process.

Any voter that is still in line at 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.
