PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) -- A man from Detroit has been arrested for allegedly selling drugs in Beaver County.

The Beaver County Times reports that New Brighton Area Police met with an informant in late January to learn about a man selling heroin in the area known as "Ambridge Boy."

The informant was given money from the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General and then exchanged the cash for drugs twice at 941 Pine Street in Ambridge.

After executing a search warrant, police found two grams of heroin, thirteen-thousand-dollars in cash and other drug paraphernalia.

24-year-old Darryl Ballard was arrested and faces multiple charges including intent to deliver heroin.

Ballard was taken to Beaver County Jail on bond and has a preliminary hearing tentatively scheduled for February 18th.
