
PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A fire in North Versailles early Friday morning left two people injured and fifteen homeless.
The Tribune-Review reports that the fire broke out around midnight at the Versailles Castle Apartments on Lincoln Highway.
Two people had to be rescued by firefighters from a balcony with a ladder.
A police officer and two other individuals were taken to local hospitals for smoke inhalation. No serious injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
The Red Cross is helping those displaced find temporary housing at a local hotel.
