HARRISBURG – Pennsylvania has been approved for a FEMA grant under the Lost Wages Assistance program which will allow Pennsylvania to provide residents who have lost wages due to the COVID-19 pandemic with an additional $300 per week in unemployment benefits, on top of their regular unemployment benefits.
President Trump made $44 billion available from FEMA's Disaster Relief Fund on August 8th in order to provide financial assistance to Americans suffering from lost wages due to the pandemic.
FEMA and Gov. Tom Wolf will work together to develop a system to administer the funds to Pennsylvania residents.
