PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Two guns were confiscated at two different regional airports in Pittsburgh on Halloween.
The Transportation Security Administration said that a Texas man was stopped by security at Pittsburgh International Airport on Thursday for having a .40 caliber handgun loaded with 14 bullets.
Allegheny County Police confiscated the handgun. The man claimed that he did not know he had the loaded handgun with him.
An Allegheny County man was also stopped for having a loaded handgun at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport on Thursday.
The 9-millimeter gun was loaded with seven bullets.
This marks the 31st gun stopped by TSA at the Pittsburgh International Airport and the fourth gun stopped at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport this year.
