PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - At a North Side warehouse, 188,000 mail-in ballots are being stored to be opened tomorrow after 7 a.m.
Deputy Elations Manager Chad Harhut says they've got three high-speed letter openers and eight high-speed scanners to count ballots.
"So I think it will be very chaotic and hectic, we are having 150 people in the morning showing up here at 6:30 a.m.," said Harhut.
Election manager David Voye is dealing with a huge number of absentee for the first time.
"I'm nervous about tomorrow, real nervous about all elections I don't get much sleep the night before.
Another 80 to 100 people will show up Tuesday night after polls close.
Those ballots will be driven in from each of 211 polling places.
Voey expects it will be slow at the polls tomorrow since so many people have already voted.
