PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Allegheny County residents now have a one-stop shop to ask questions or request a service.

A newly-consolidated call center, online support center and new mobile app are available to Allegheny County residents where they can ask questions and request services from public works, parks, property assessments and real estate.

County residents can now go online, use the app or call 412-350-INFO (4636) to request things like snow removal from county roads and bridges or ask questions about shelter reservations at county parks.

Call Center Manager Michele Cipcic tells KDKA Radio they are working to add even more county offices to the list

“We’re currently looking to bring in the Health Department and Weights and Measures,” said Cipcic.

Cipcic adds residents can even use the app to report a pothole.

“It allows them to see if a complaint was already brought to the county’s attention concerning that pothole. It allows them to track and process whether it has been assigned to the public works department,” said Cipcic.

Call center staff are available weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., but calls for parks and public works that require immediate action will be directed to on-call staff in those departments.

Users who download the app on their smartphone can also submit photo to support their service request.
