(Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Tailgate problems have spurred a recall of Ford pick-up trucks.
The carmaker says electric switches on those tailgates are prone to water and electrical damage, and could open unexpectedly.
The recall impacts years 2017 through 2019 F-250, 350 and 450 models. Drivers can check their VIN on Ford's website.
Ford says that 231,664 trucks are affected.
