HARRISBURG, Pa (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - If your driver's license is about to expire, this may be good news for you.
On Friday, PennDOT announced that it is once again extending the expiration date of driver licenses, learner's permits and state IDs.
In June, the dates had already been extended to July 31. Now, those forms of identification with original expiration dates from March 16, 2020 through August 31, 2020 will now expire on August 31.
Camera cards are considered to be a driver license, so they would fall under the same guidelines.
