According to a recent study by Lending Tree, Pennsylvania small businesses rank among the least adaptable since the coronavirus pandemic hit.

The information was pulled from the U.S. Cencus Bureau's Small Business Pulse survey from April to June.

Pennsylvania comes in at number 36 with 7.2% of small businesses pivoting their operations to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 43 states and the Disctrict of Columbia responded to the survey.

Washington, D.C., Hawaii, Alaska, New Mexico and Delware make up the top five most adaptable with 10 percent or more of small businesses making a change to adapt to the business climate as a result of the virus.

The most adaptable types of businesses were related to educational services.
