Part of the Pennsylvania Turnpike will be closed to motorists in both directions for a short period of time over the weekend.
Starting at 11:55 pm on Saturday night until 4:30 am Sunday morning, the Turnpike between the New Castle interchange at exit 10 and the Cranberry interchange at exit 28 will close so crews can work on the Freedom Road bridge.
PennDOT suggests the following detours:
