PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A pedestrian was hit by a car on McKnight Road Monday night.
Ross Police say the person was trying to cross McKnight by going over the jersey barrier and into the Northbound lane.
That's when the man saw a car approching and tried to go back over the barrier. The man was hit by the car. He was taken to a local hospital and was receivng critical trauma care as of this morning.
Police said the motorist tried swerved in an attempt to avoid hitting the man. Criminal charges are not expected against the driver.
