PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — A Penn Hills woman is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from her father with dementia.
51-year-old Tonya Reid was removed as plenary guardian for her father Walter Daniels when she stopped paying bills for his care.
Court documents say that by that time, Daniels' account had been overdrawn.
In total, Reid is charged with stealing more than $106,000 of her father's pension and retirement funds for various personal expenses including tuition, liquor and loan payments.
