PennDot Extending Expiration Dates For Vehicle Registrations And Driver Licenses

HARRISBURG, PA (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced on Friday that they will be lengthening the expiration dates of driver licenses, learner's permits, disability placards, ID cards, vehicle registrations and safety and emissions inspections.

Driver licenses, ID cards, and learner's permits that expire between March 16, 2020 and April 30, 2020 will have the expiration date pushed back to May 31, 2020.


Vehicle registrations, along with safety and emissions inspections, that expire between March 16 and April 30 will also be pushed to May 31.

Persons with Disabilities parking placards will also be extended to May 31 if the expiration dates fall within the March 16 to April 30 window.
