HARRISBURG Pa (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) The state of Pennsylvania has passed 60,000 cases of Coronavirus, with an additional 986 confrimed cases today the statewide total reaches 60,622.
Pennsylvania today becomes the sixth state to pass the mark of 60,000 cases.
The state also announced an additional 124 deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,342.
Of the total number of cases, 12,937 of them come from patients in personal care or nursing homes, while 2,039 of the cases come from workers in the homes.
2,991 of the deaths are from those nursing home patients.
Health care workers have counted for 4,349 of the total number of cases statewide.
To date there have been 259,210 negative tests in the state.
