Report: Pennsylvania Town Among Best Leaf Peeping Destinations

If you enjoy seeing colorful fall foliage, Pennsylvania is the right state for you.

In fact, you may consider a trip to Tannersville, PA - which is ranked number 2 on vacasa.com's "Best Destination For Fall Leaf Peeping In 2020."

Tannersville is located in the Pocono mountains.

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is expected to release its annual Fall Foliage Report. They also have an interactive map to show prime locations throughout the state to see the colorful sights of the season.

According to the DCNR website, "Pennsylvania has a longer and more varied fall foliage season than any other state in the nation -- or anywhere in the world."

Prime leaf peeping time is from late September to early November.
