PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Pittsburgh Brewing Company known for Iron City Beer and I.C. Light are now in the coffee business.
Iron City Bean’s Nine to Five blend is “roasted slow to a robust medium-dark without cutting corners.
It is made with beans from Mexico, Guatemala, Cameroon and Brazil.
Their website adds it has “satisfying notes of caramel, chocolate and nougat.”
The coffee comes from a collaboration with Pittsburgh-based upstart roasters Press House Coffee and Pittsburgh Brewing.
Over 1,002 pounds of coffee have already been sold and you can get a bag or more here.
