PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Pittsburgh Irish Festival returns this weekend to the lots at Sandcastle, after being rained out a year ago.

There will be four stages of entertainment, local/international music and dancers, cultural games for kids and a lot more.

"We think were one of the biggest Irish festivals in the country," said Mairin Petrone, Executive Director of the Pittsburgh Irish Festival, during an interview with KDKA Radio on Wednesday.

"Were so blessed to not only have attendees from all over our region, but we have people who travel nationally and internationally to visit us every year."

The event begins at 4p.m. on Friday and runs through Sunday evening.
