PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Democratic Mayor of Pittsburgh Bill Peduto has said in the past he would run for re-election and on early Thursday he once again reaffirmed his goal to win a third term.
Peduto who has first elected mayor in 2013 was responding to critics when he made the announcement.
“Had to?” Had to?” “Had to?” I would suggest looking into PA Laws regarding use of force & the escalation of force, then ask, do they follow accredited best practices of law enforcement? We are committed to find Officer Hall’s killer & we will. Good to know Laguna Beach cares. https://t.co/OdIs3SvG8s

July 18, 2019 He also went on to say if elected that would be his last term and would be done with politics after that, but that he still has “work to do”.
2021. Then find my life’s work. No more politics after that, if I am re-elected, for me. All I wanted is to work for the city of Pittsburgh. Still have work to do.
