Friday night, after a jury found former East Pittsburgh police officer Michael Rosfeld 'not guilty' in the shooting death of Antwon Rose, Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto said in a tweet that he grieves "with Antwon's family, friends, and the entire community."
Rosfeld fatally shot Rose in June of 2018 following a traffic stop from which Rose attempted to flee.
The jury began deliberations late Friday afternoon and delivered a verdict just after the 9:00pm the same day.
