PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh Police introduced three of the forces cutest new members Monday.
During a swearing-in ceremony on the North Shore at the Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, Cappy, a bloodhound, Zane, the city’s first comfort dog and Dodger, who will be used for accelerant detection, received their badges.
While the canines are cute, officially say the dogs will help residents safe and their jobs are taken seriously.
