PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A local pizza shop that was offering free lunches for students and young children not in school had their store robbed overnight.

Patyn McCune, owner of Lelulo's Pizza says someone broke her front window and took hundreds of dollars of cash from her register.

McCune, the mother of an 11-month-old and another one on the way, has owned the store at 311 Unity Center Road in Plum for nearly five years.

She told KDKA Radio's Marty Griffin that along with the damage to her store, she expects her costs to be in the thousands of dollars for repairs.

One of McCune's customers took action and started a Gofundme to help keep Lelulo's going.

"The amount of support and kindness I have received in the last hour is bringing so many tears to my eyes," McCune said on Facebook.

So far, the fundraiser has been a success and you can help them raise even more.

In an update on Facebook, McCune said she is not stopping and will continue to offer free lunches on Tuesday as well as the rest of the week.
