CRAFTON, Pa. (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Crafton borough Police have issued a crime watch alert.
A thief or thieves are targeting cars parked in the middle of the borough.
The areas that were targeted include Parke Street, N. Grandview Avenue, South Emily Street, South Grandview Avenue and Woodlawn Avenue.
Surveillance video captured “what appears to be a white male wearing a jacket (dark colored top and lighter colored bottom), dark pants, dark shoes, light colored winter hat, light in color backpack and a flashlight.”
Police ask anyone else with surveillance footage of the actor to please call Crafton Police at 911.
In all but one case the cars were unlocked. Items stolen include loose change, purses and electronic devices.
Police are reminding residents in Crafton to lock their doors and not to leave valuables inside.
