PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Port Authority announced four new positive coronavirus cases among its employees on Wednesday.
The total cases for Port Authority is now at 43.
Their 40th case was from a bus driver out of the Ross garage.
The employee last reported for work on Monday, August 10 and received the test results on August 14.
The 41st case was from an administrative employee that works out of the Heinz 57 Center.
They last worked on Tuesday, August 11.
The employee felt ill on the evening of the 11th and went under a medically recommended self-quarantine.
They are still under quarantine at the time of writing.
The 42nd case was another administrative employee out of the Heinz 57 Center.
The employee last worked on Wednesday, August 12 and has been in quarantine since then.
Port Authority's 43rd case is an employee from the Main Shop in the Manchester neighborhood.
They last worked on Friday, August 7 and the test results came in on Wednesday, August 19.
Port Authority reminds its riders to wear masks while at the stops or in the vehicles and to practice social distancing as best as possible.
