PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Port Authority of Allegheny County needs your help in shaping public travel over the next 25 years.

“We are kicking off a series of online public meetings designed to get feedback and information for NEXTransit,” said Katharine Kelleman, CEO of the Port Authority of Allegheny County, during an interview with the KDKA Radio Morning Show on Monday.

NEXTransit is the Port Authority of Allegheny County’s long term plan that asks the community what public transit should look like in the year 2045.

“We need to know what the folks who are using our system, or the people who would like to use our system think, before we can make this roadmap on how to get there,” Kelleman explains.

The dates for the online public meetings include:

Monday, July 27th at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 6th at 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, August 25th at 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
