PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – A couple hundred people lined both sided of Grant Street in front of the City-County Building Monday afternoon protesting the state of Pennsylvania’s shutdown of non-essential businesses.

American flags, along with Trump 2020 campaign signs, Gadsden (Don’t tread on me) flags and signs that read “free small businesses” and “You can do both save lives and open businesses” were on display.

Cars also drove by, honking their horns in support of the protestors with some displaying their own signs and American Flags.

Some of the protestors are small businesses owners who are shut down and not currently making any income.

Others are afraid their constitutional rights are being infringed on.

KDKA Radio's Joe DeStio says there are more people than not not wearing masks during the protest.

A similar protest is also happening at the Capitol building in Harrisburg.
