PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A raccoon in Bradford Woods has tested positive for rabies.

It was picked up in the 800 block of Oak Road.

Five animals have tested positive for the lethal virus in Allegheny County this year: two raccoons, one bat, one cat and one groundhog.

The Allegheny County Health Department reminds residents to watch for unusual behavior in animals and keep your pets up-to-date on their rabies vaccinations.

Anyone who notices an animal exhibiting symptoms including strange behavior should call their local police, animal control service or the state Game Commission immediately.
