
PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - After a brutal week of frigid weather and snow a dramatic shift in temperatures is coming.
Pittsburgh experienced some of the coldest weather in a while with record low temperatures recorded on Wednesday and Thursday but by Monday we’ll see a high around 56. That’s an over 60 degree swing from Thursday’s low.

Highs for Saturday and Sunday will be a much improved 42 and 49 respectively.
AccuWeather Alyson Hoegg tells the cold air that has been entrenched in our area is finally moving north and being replaced with warmer air from the Gulf of Mexico.
As a bonus, we may actually see some sunshine over the next few days as well.
Temperatures are expected to hover in the mid-30s to low 40s through Valentine’s Day.
