Round Two: Another Wave Of Strong Storms To Cause More Flooding

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Heavy rains caused flooded roads, homes and businesses Thursday morning into the afternoon and another round of severe weather could cause even more headaches.

Strong storms in Ohio are making their way toward Western Pennsylvania and could bring another inch or more of rain with it before it finally clears out this evening.

Earlier storms devastated roadways causing landslides, sinkholes and more around the region including a massive sinkhole near McKnight Road.

Thousands of Duquesne Light and Penn Power customers are in the dark with most of the outages in Sewickley, Troy Hill and East Liberty 

Allegheny County Emergency services is encouraging people to make “alternative arrangements to get home from work as traffic will be impacted by the weather.”

Officials are also reminding drivers to NOT drive through ponding water.
