Uber Driver Ulysses Coto, who has driven over 14,000 Uber trips and has a 5-star rating with the company, joined the show on Monday to give safety tips for anyone who uses ride sharing services.

Coto says it is important to use the app to see the make and model of the car you've requested are before entering it.

Also, make sure to match the licenses plate in the app to the one on the car.

Another important tip is to make sure that you don't give out your name when getting in the car. Instead, ask who the driver the name of the rider, and have them say your name.

This way, the driver must confirm that he/she knows your name because of app request.

You can also ak the driver confirms his/her name, instead of you asking, "Are you [driver's name]?"
