PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Allegheny and all surrounding counties until 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
The watch is also in effect for the following nearby counties, Fayette, Lawrence, Indiana, Westmoreland, Butler, Beaver, Greene, Washington, Armstrong, Marshall, WV, and Ohio, WV.
The watch covers parts of five states.
