PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Snow is in the forecast for Wednesday.
A coating to 1 or 2 inches could fall around the Pittsburgh area throughout the day.
Authorities are asking drivers to use caution on the roads as road conditions can change quickly.
There is a weather alert on the PA Turnpike from the Ohio line in Lawrence County to the Morgantown exit in Berks County.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for parts of Fayette and Westmoreland Counties and into northern West Virginia through 9 p.m. Thursday.
Accumulations of 3 to 7 inches is possible in those areas.
