
HARRISBURG Pa. (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) The Pennsylvania State Police Liquor Control Enforcement Officers visited 1,876 licensed establishments from July 20 through July 21 to ensure businesses are following the state mandated COVID-19 mitigation requirements.
Of the total visits, the Enforcement Officers issued one violation notice and 47 warnings across the state of Pennsylvania.
While the single violation came from Allentown, Pa, Pittsburgh accounted for 13 warnings.
Pittsburgh and Harrisburg both received 13 warnings, the most out of any city in the state.
The 13 warnings were issued out of 601 checks made by the Enforcement Officers, the most checks in the state.
The litigation requirements that the Enforment Officers are looking for is that all businiesses are requiring all customers to wear masks while entering, leaving, or walking around the restaurant; provide six feet or physical barriers between seating arrangements; and maximum occupancy limits are posted and enforced.
