PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Monday is the 4th day in a row without rain in the city, but it won't last for long.
Accuweather Meteorologist Issac Longley told KDKA Radio's Larry and John the remnants of Barry is making its way toward Pittsburgh.
"As we head into the middle part of the week especially . . . Wednesday night we could see some heavy showers and thunderstorms from the remnants of Barry," said Longley. "There's going to be a lot of tropical moisture associated with that system so there will be some heavy rain fall."
Following the rain we'll see sweltering temperatures return.
With no rain today, this will mark the 5th time #Pittsburgh has gone four days in a row without precipitation. We have not gone five days in a row this entire year! Guess what? Storms are forecast tomorrow! #pawx In 2018, we had a few eight day stretches. #pawx

Even with temperatures in the 90s our "feels like" temperatures are going to be anywhere between 100 and 105 (degrees)," said Longley
Friday's high will be around 91 degrees.
