PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A Butler County woman was stopped at Pittsburgh International Airport Wednesday with a loaded handgun in her carry-on bag.
Transportation Security Administration officers found six bullets in the 9-millimeter handgun including one in the chamber.
Allegheny County Police were called to the checkpoint where they detained the woman for questioning
This is the 17th gun stopped at the checkpoint this year.
Last year TSA Officers stopped 34 firearms at the checkpoint.
