
PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Two Fox Chapel High School students have a brother who has tested positive for coronavirus Monday evening.
The district says the sibling started to have mild symptoms of the virus after returning to the Pittsburgh area on Friday and the district was not made aware of this until Tuesday.
The sibling is not a student at Fox Chapel.
One of the brothers who is a student currently, came to the high school on Monday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to retrieve belongings.
In a release the district says “The school district is in the process of identifying and attempting to notify any students who may have come in contact with the student while he/she was in the high school on Monday.”
Classes are scheduled to resume on April 13 with online instruction beginning Tuesday, March 17.
