CLEVELAND (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The National Weather Service has issued a Beach Hazard Statement for Lake Erie, saying there is a high swimming risk from wind, large waves and dangerous currents.
The combination can create life-threatening conditions even for strong swimmers.
NWS suggests swimmers at Pennsylvania and Ohio lakeshores stay out of the water.
