PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – You can now watch WQED Producer Rick Sebak’s latest Kennywood program anytime you want.
“Don’t Stand Up” (The sign on the Racer rollercoaster) is the third installment of Sebak's trip to Kennywood in 1988 is now online.
The series of programs he lovingly calls the “unexpected trilogy” begin with the 1988 classic “Kennywood Memories” and after looking back at the over 40 hours of footage they filmed that summer, he decided to release another program called “That Kennywood Summer” earlier this year.
The response he got was so positive he knew he had to make at least one more.
That’s where “Don’t Stand Up” comes in!
The program is all “new” footage but features all of the favorites like “historian Charles J. Jacques Jr. on the Racer and the Auto Ride, along with familiar characters like Beth Snodgrass at the Wave Swinger, and maintenance men Bryan Bartley and Geno.“
