
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A woman shot by state police in Lawrence County Monday now faces criminal charges.
Troopers responding to a disturbance call in Slippery Rock Township around 9 a.m. say they found 55-year-old Maria Carmen Rozzi with a handgun that she refused to drop.
She was shot once and transported to a local hospital.
Rozzi faces several assault and harassment charges, along with resisting arrest and endangering others.
