HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – Allegheny County is confirming 10 new cases of COVID-19, 11 less than Thursday, and zero additional deaths on Friday.
The total number of cases in Allegheny County has now reached 2,065.
Of those cases, 1,933 are confirmed and 132 are probable.

173 people have died as a result of coronavirus.
Of those deaths, 161 are confirmed and 12 are probable
All deaths are in people ranging in age from 42-103 with 84 being the median age of those who have died.

The PA Department of Health reports that 38,693 people have tested negative for coronavirus.
One additional hospitalization is being reported bring the total past and present to 355.
Individuals who have recovered is determined using a calculation, similar to what is being done by several other states. If a case has not been reported as a death, and it is more than 30 days past the date of their first positive test (or onset of symptoms) then an individual is considered recovered.
