For the first time since its premiere in 1966, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" won't air on national television.
According to a press release from AppleTV+, it was announced on Monday afternoon that AppleTV+ will now exclusively stream the show and other Charlie Brown holiday specials.
That means "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" will also not be airing on broadcast TV.
If you're not a subscriber to AppleTV+, DON'T WORRY!
The Charlie Brown specials will be available to even non-subscribers for free during a limited time window, so you will be able to at least watch them once this holiday season, but it will have to be on AppleTV+.
"It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" is already available to AppleTV+ subscribers, and it will be available for free to non-subscribers from October 30th to November 1st.
"A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" will begin streaming on AppleTV+ for subscribers on November 18th, and it will be available to non-subscribers for free from November 25th to the 27th.
