
Sometimes it doesn't take a loud lecture or a proud statement to impact a nervous public. No. Often it's soft words, written by the heart and almost whispered to whomever is listening that ends up rippling through a community and burning like wildfire. Today's inferno comes courtesy of a young mom named Laura Kelly Fanucci.
Kelly just had a baby a few weeks ago, so she's up often in the middle of the night to feed her son. Those quiet nights sitting in the darkness with her thoughts led to the following poem. I think it speaks volumes about who we are, how we feel, and where we hope to emerge from all of this.
