Wallen posted the photo Tuesday night with the caption, “Hang a sign on the door of my life.” The caption is a lyric from Church’s song, “Livin’ Part Of Life,” off his 2006 debut album, Sinners Like Me which tells the story of leaving troubles behind for a day of fishing.

The photo is a rare glimpse into the current life of Wallen, who signed off social media after being caught on camera using a racial slur earlier this year. The first communication with fans since his time off was a hand-written letter to fans posted on his Instagram earlier this month.

The letter explained he would continue to take time off music while he worked on himself and would not fulfill his spot on the upcoming Luke Bryan tour or play the festival dates he was previously scheduled for.

“I’ve found that time away to be very valuable to me in many ways, but I feel like I need al little more of it + therefore will not be performing tour dates this Summer,” Wallen wrote in the letter. “But it’s important to me, personally, if you can, still go to these shows + support Country music. Country music is back + that’s a beautiful damn thing.”

Luke recently revealed new plans for his upcoming Proud to be Right Here Tour. Joining him for the trek will be Dylan Scott, Runaway June and Caylee Hammack.
