Inspiring audiences since 2002, the Pittsburgh Speakers Series brings seven thought leaders to Heinz Hall each season to share their experience and perspectives on global affairs, politics, history, the environment, literature, business, economics, and the arts.
Equal parts entertainment and education, the Series presents timely topics and speakers representing a variety of views to promote understanding, critical thinking, and respect. Subscribers welcome the opportunity to hear and learn from speakers whose views may differ from their own and be a part of positive civic dialogue.
From leaders in government to Broadway, journalism, history, and science, the events showcase a unique breadth of topics and personalities. The authentic, live, in-person experiences are memorable nights out, with speakers sharing personal anecdotes and "behind the headlines" stories about their unique experiences before taking questions from the audience.
