Garbage Truck Falls Into Sinkhole In Oakland

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A garbage truck ended up in a sinkhole in South Oakland Monday.
It happened around 11 a.m. on Fifth Avenue.
A Vogel Disposal Service truck was involved.
No one was injured.
Police are investigating the cause of the hole, and how the truck ended up in it.
Authorities say that Allegheny Crane Rental will be removing the truck.
Fifth Avenue is closed until further notice.
“Drivers inbound will be diverted to the Boulevard of the Allies on ramp at Robinson Street.
Access back on to Fifth Avenue will be at Moultrie Street and Jumonville Street from Boulevard of the Allies.”
