Healthcare Workers Outside of AHN's West Penn Hospital Kneel In Support of Black Lives Matter Movement

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Healthcare workers kneeled outside of Allegheny Health Network's West Penn Hospital in support of the Black Lives Matter movement as protests have grown around the country in recent days since the death of a black man, George Floyd, who died in police custody after a white officer kneeled on his neck for more than eight minutes in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Some of the healthcare workers held signs while kneeling. One sign read "White Coats for Black Lives," another had "#BLM" written on it and another read "Black Lives Matter."
