Kennywood's Holiday Lights Named One Of The Best In The Nation

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A new nationwide poll has once again played Kennywood's Holiday Lights attraction one of the best in the nation.

USA Today's 10Best.com list says Kennywood is the 10th best theme park for holiday events.

It marks the fourth straight time Kennywood has made the list.

Holiday Lights features Pennsylvania's largest Christmas tree, standing 100 feet tall.

Other attractions include the new Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer 4D experience, the Gingerbread express, a choreographed display of lights over Kennywood's lagoon and of course Santa!

"We want to thank all those who took the time to vote for Holiday Lights," says Kennywood General Manager Jerome Gibas. "Our Team Members put in many hours to bring Holiday Lights to life, and it's rewarding to see our efforts recognized."

Kennywood's Holiday Lights is open 5 to 9 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays before Christmas and nightly December 26-30 depending on Weather.
