PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - America's Toy Scout, Joel Magee, who is featured on the History Channel Show Pawns Stars, will be in Pittsburgh August 11-13 for the Pittsburgh Vintage Toy Buying Show.
He will be buying classic and vintage toys from individuals in the area.
"I can tell you that the most popular right now are Star Wars," said Magee, during an interview with KDKA Radio on Thursday.
Superhero material is also highly sought after.
"People are infatuated with Spiderman, Superman, Batman and all of those old comic books that came out in the 40's, 50's 60's and 70's," Magee explains.
Do not clean your products if you plan on bringing them to this event.
"A lot of times you can use the wrong chemical and damage them," Magee said.
America's Toy Scout will be at the Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh Monroeville on August 11, from 9:30am to 5pm; then the Hampton Inn Pittsburgh/Greentree on August 12th and 13th, from 9:30am to 5pm.
