Is Homeschooling Becoming a More Viable Option?

Students Continuing to Learn from Home

As the pandemic continues to wind down, most people believed that the majority of students would begin to return to a more traditional style of schooling. That has not been the case though.

Whether it be because of bullying, lack of transportation, emotional issues, or lingering Covid protocols, many parents are deciding to keep homeschooling their child.

Linda Karimo is an organizer with the Post-Covid Child Education Summit, and she told Rick Dayton "And the parents saw that when they were working from home, the teacher isn’t really involved in my child’s everyday lessons, really. It’s for the whole class!"

When it's all said and done, no one knows what schooling will look like in a post-pandemic world, but it is apparent that homeschooling is becoming a more attractive option for families all over the country.
