On Wednesday, the Allegheny County Health Department says there were 10 new coronavirus-related deaths reported in the last 24 hours along with 508 new cases of the virus.
Of the new cases from 1,270 tests, 499 are confirmed which amounts to a 35% psotivity rate.
Since March, the county has seen 29,515 cases of COVID-19.
This week it was announced that the first Pennsylvanians could gain access to a COVID-19 vaccine as early as December 10.
It's expected that health care workers would be among the first to receive the vaccine.
